JOHNSON <br />Personnel Director <br />SUBJECT: ADOPT JOB DESCRIPTION AND APPROVE SALARY RANGE FOR SENIOR POLICE <br />SERVICES CLERK <br />BACKGROUND <br />The position in the Police Department that handles all clerical duties for the Detective Division is currently <br />classified as Police Senior Office Specialist which does not accurately describe the essential duties performed. <br />This position is vacant and a recruitment needs to be conducted. Staff has developed the classification Senior <br />Police Services Clerk with a job description that more accurately describes the duties of the position. No change <br />in salary is proposed.
