For Council Meeting of November 1, 1994 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL DATE: October 24, 1994 <br />FROM: Gracie Fernandez Harmon <br />Personnel Director <br />SUBJECT: APPROVE REVISED JOB DESCRIPTION FOR THE PART-TIME TEMPORARY <br />POSITION OF GENERAL CLERK AND AUTHORIZE PERSONNEL TO BEGIN THE <br />RECRUITMENT PROCESS <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Council approved funding for a part-time temporary General Clerk in the 1994-95 Redevelopment Agency <br />Budget. The job description for the position was adopted in 1981 and does not adequately describe the duties <br />to be performed. Staff has prepared the attached job description that more closely describes duties that are to <br />be performed by this position. Council authorization to fill this position is also requested.
