11.2 On motion of Councilman Gonzales, seconded by Councilman Hayes and unanimously' passed, second reading was approved and Ordinance No. 1467 adopted. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: Councilman Hayes stated that a Parade Permit has been submitted by Mr. Chuck Faren of the Colton High School, for the Colton High Homecoming Parade, to be held Friday, October 25, 1974, at 5:00 p.m., beginning at Laurel Street and Rancho Avenue, and terminating at the Stadium. On motion of Councilwoman Spragins, seconded by Councilman Hayes and unanimously passed, the Parade Permit requested by the Colton High School for October 25, 1974, was approved. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The City Council adjourned to Executive Session at 9:06 p.m-., on the request of Mayor Huntoon. The City Council reconvened at 9:28 p.., all members present. Appointment to Recreation and Parks Commission. On motion of Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Spragins and unanimously passed, Council approved Mayor Huntoon's appointment of Mr. Amos Kent to fill the unexpired term of Mrs. Barbara Martin on the Recreation and Parks Commission. Appointment to the Planning Commission. On motion of Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Spragins and unanimously passed, Council approved Mayor Huntoon's appointment of Mr. Gus Llamas to fill the unexpired term of Mr. Danny Morales on the Planning Commission.
