RAMOS <br />City Clerk <br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date <br />at 7:30 p.m., in.the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Huntoon presiding. <br />Mayor Huntoon led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Invocation was offered by Councilman Leroy Rehrer. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council members present were Hayes, Spragins, Rehrer, Gonzales, and Mayor Huntoon. Also <br />present were City Manager Huffaker, Assistant City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />On motion of G'ouncilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes and unanimously passed, the Con- <br />sent Calendar was approved as follows: <br />1. Approval of Minutes - Regular Meeting of September 3, 1974, as on file in the Office <br />of the City Clerk. <br />2. Approval of Warrants - Nos. 9819 through 10061, and Nos. 14197 through 14451 <br />(September 13) inclusive, as recommended by the Director of Finance. <br />3. Grant Deed from Janet M. Snow Vickers for r6&.d' purposes. Accept and authorize <br />recording. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />TIME AND PLACE FIXED FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 763 SPECIFIC <br />(STREET) PLAN, INDEX NO. SP -1-74, REALIGNMENT OF BARTON ROAD. <br />Mayor Huntoon declared the public hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that no protests or <br />objections had been received. <br />Planning Director Williams stated the public hearing this evening concerns the proposed re- <br />alignment of Barton Road and Grand Terrace Road, northerly of Washington Street. <br />Mr. Williams continued that Council members have copies of a map indicating the realign- <br />ment. Mr. Williams then outlined the proposed work to be done along Barton Road. <br />Mr. Williams advised that the City has been working with the County on this realignment for <br />the past year and their plans are nearly complete. Mr. Williams stated after the City has <br />its public hearing, the County will also hold a public hearing on their portion of the <br />realignment. <br />Mayor Huntoon asked if anyone had additional comments to make at this time. <br />On motion of Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes and unanimously passed, the <br />public hearing was terminated. <br />On motion of Councilwoman Spragins, seconded by Councilman Rehrer and unanimously passed,. <br />Resolution No. 3463 was approved. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3463 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ADOPTING SPECIFIC <br />(STREET) PLAN, SP -1-743, REALIGNMENT OF BARTON ROAD. <br />S EP 17 1974 <br />
