4 50 ORDINANCE NO. 1586 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMENDING <br />First Reading) SECTION, 3. OF ORDINANCE NO. 1471 AND SECTION 5.02.500 OF THE <br />COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE PROVIDING FOR A BUSINESS LICENSE TAX <br />FOR AUCTIONEERS. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORTS AND RFC0MMFNDATTnNS_- <br />Minutes <br />City Attorney Edwards called the City Council's attention to a Memorandum from the <br />City Clerk, dated July 15, 1980, regarding an addition to the Council Minutes of <br />January 3, 1979. <br />Mr. Edwards stated the memorandum reports the January 3, 1979 minutes as approved by <br />the City Council do not reflect the motions adopting Resolution Nos. 3889 and 3890, <br />and further, the memorandum sets out what should have been included in the minutes. <br />Mr. Edwards stated if the City Council concurs, a motion that the Minutes of the <br />City Council of January 3, 1979, be amended in accordance with the memorandum from <br />the City Clerk would be in order. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve the amendment <br />to the Minutes of the City Council of January 3, 1979, as recommended by staff. <br />Motion carried. Councilwoman Garcia Abstaining. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Mr. Frank Smith, 270 West "F" Street, Colton, complained about the early morning <br />noise being created by both the railroads and Kelley Mill, stating this is dis- <br />turbing to the residents and the City Council should do something about it. <br />Staff was directed to check into this matter. <br />RECESS: <br />The City Council recessed at 8:44 p. m., to conduct the business of the Redevelop- <br />ment Agency for the City of Colton, and reconvened at 9:07 p. m. <br />FXFCIITTVF SFSSMN <br />The City Council adjourned to Executive Session at 9:08 p. m., to discuss matters of <br />Litigation, and reconvened at 10:48 p. m., all Members present. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer and unanimously passed, <br />Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 10:50 p. m., to meet for an Adjourned Regu- <br />lar Meeting on Monday, July 21, 1980, at 5:00 p. m., in the Council Chambers. <br />HELEN A. Also <br />present were Acting City Manager Trevino, City Attorney Edwards, and Deputy City <br />Clerk Veralrud. Absent was Councilwoman Cisneros and City Clerk Ramos. <br />Sewer Plant <br />Ord.
