COUNCIL MEETING 127 <br />DECEMBER 39 1985 <br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held <br />on the above given date at 7:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall, Mayor Huntoon presiding. <br />Mayor Huntoon led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Invocation was offered by Rev. Jamieson Matthias, First Presbyterian <br />Church. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council Members present were Rios, Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor <br />Huntoon. Also present were City Manager Elliott, City Attorney Edwards <br />and City Clerk Ramos. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />(1) Minutes <br />0 November 193, 1985. <br />co <br />LD (2) Warrants <br />47021 through 47317 <br />122603 through 122830 <br />co November 27, 1985, inclusive <br />Q <br />(3) RDA/Agreements <br />Loan and Pledge Agreement between the City of Colton and the <br />Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton, Project #4. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve <br />the Consent Calendar. Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Proclamations <br />Mayor Huntoon read in full a Proclamation declaring the week of <br />December 15 through 21, 1985, as DRUNK AND DRUGGED DRIVING AWARE- <br />NESS WEEK. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Zoning <br />Ord. No. 1695 <br />Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Planning Director Aguilera reported on a zone change request from Paul <br />Shadid, on property located within the County to be annexed to the <br />City of Colton, to RE, for 19.0 acres, and C-1, for 1.8 acres, north- <br />easterly off of Reche Canyon Road and contiguous to a portion of the <br />southeastern City limits. <br />Mr. Aguilera advised the Planning Commission reviewed this matter at <br />a public hearing and determined that the proposed zone changes would <br />provide substantially the same as what the properties are currently <br />zoned. Mr. Aguilera said that Planning Commission Resolution No. 2059 <br />recommends approval of the zone change, and Staff recommends approval <br />of First Reading of Ordinance No. 1695. <br />Mayor Huntoon asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to close <br />the Public Hearing.
