Mr. Meith stated we want to get these negotiations behind us and go on <br />on with the business of the City; there are a fine group of employees <br />here in the City and they are interested in doing the best job that <br />they can for the City. Mr. Meith said the employees want to be pro- <br />ductive and give 100 percent, but they want a fair shake in return. <br />Mr. Meith said the employees have not been treated fairly, there are <br />constant rejections, and this cannot help but effect the employees <br />morale and productivity. <br />Mr. Meith stated there is an impasse meeting scheduled for next Monday <br />and they are very hopeful that something can be resolved, so that we <br />can all move forward. Mr. Meith said he would be happy to answer any <br />questions from the Council Members. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios and unani- <br />mously passed, Mayor Huntoon adjourned the meeting at 10:05 p. m. <br />HELEN A.
