CITY OF COLTON CLOSED SESSION - COUNCIUREDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY APRIL 17, 2007 Closed Session Meeting was held on the above given date at 5:03 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, with Mayor Chastain presiding. CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL Councilmembers present were, Mitchell, Oliva, Toro and Mayor Chastain. Mayor Pro Tempore Suchil arrived at 5:07 p.m. and CM De La Rosa absent. City Attorney Derleth announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session to discuss item A and CM Oliva would recuse herself of discussion as there is a conflict of interest as her employer is one and the same. CLOSED SESSION: A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL —ANTICIPATED LITIGATION Initiation of Litigation Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(c) Mayor Chastain adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:04 p.m. and at 6:07 p.m.; the meeting reconvened with all members present as heretofore. Mayor Chastain reported that the Council did meet and did confer in Closed Session on the items previously announced council did not reach a conclusion and council will return to closed session after the regular council meeting. A.
