CITY OF COLTON COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES June 23, 2009 A Special Meeting of the City Council/Redevelopment Agency/Colton Utility Authority of the City of Colton was held at 5:33 p.m., on the above -given date in the Council Chambers, 650 N. La Cadena Drive, Colton, CA 92324 with Mayor Chastain presiding. Notice of Special Meeting was given on May 25, 2009, in compliance with Government Code Section 54956. ROLL CALL Councilmembers present were, Perez, Yzaguirre, Mayor Pro Tempore Oliva and Mayor Chastain. Also present were Interim City Manager Miller and City Clerk Gomez. Absent: CM Toro/De La Rosa/Bennett. PUBLIC COMMENT: The following citizens addressed the council: Apolinar Espudo MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF JUNE 23, 2009. Mayor Chastain asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: Said Special Meeting shall be for the purpose of studying and or taking action on the following matters: Budget Workshop: To discuss the Proposed Expenditure Plans for Fiscal Year 2009/2010. Recommendation: Approve and Adopt CITY RESOLUTION NO. R-40-09, RDA RESOLUTION NO. 881 AND CUA RESOLUTION NO. CUA 2009-01. Motion/second by CM Yzaguirre/Mayor Pro Tempore Oliva to approve and adopt City Resolution No. R-40-09, RDA Resolution No. 881, and CUA Resolution No. CUA 2009-01, authorizing the Interim City Manager Miller to continue operations in FY 09/10 under 08/09 budget and bring a balanced budget back no later than July 7, 2009 Regular Council Meeting. Motion carried with CM Toro/De La Rosa/Bennett absent. Approve and Adopt HUTA Resolution from California Cities RESOLUTION NO. R-41-09. 2009 JUN 23 SPC JT W/PC CC/RDA/CUA MEETING - 1 -
