CITY OF COLTON COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY/COLTON PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES MARCH 29, 2010 A Special Meeting of the City Council/Redevelopment Agency/Colton Utility Authority/Colton Public Financing Authority of the City of Colton was held at 5:33 p.m., on the above -given date at the City of Colton, Council Chambers, 650 N. La Cadena Drive, Colton, CA 92324 with Mayor Chastain presiding. Notice of Special Meeting was given on March 25, 2010, in compliance with Government Code Section 54956. ROLL CALL Council Members present: Mayor Chastain, Mayor Pro Tempore Toro, De La Rosa, Yzaguirre, Perez, Oliva and Bennett. Also present: City Manager Foster and City Clerk Gomez. At 5:45 p.m., CM Oliva announced that she would recuse herself from discussion on the closed session due to Conflict of Interest as she owns property within 500 yards of the project. MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF MARCH 29, 2010. Mayor Chastain asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. PUBLIC COMMENT: The following citizens addressed the Council: None MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: Said Special Meeting shall be for the purpose of studying and or taking action on the following matters: A. CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - POTENTIAL LITIGATION Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(c) Number of Cases: 1 Mayor Chastain adjourned the meeting to Closed Session at 5:05 p.m. and at 5:58 p.m. the meeting reconvened with all members present as heretofore. City Attorney Derleth reported that the Council did meet and did confer in Closed Session to discuss Item A below with no reportable action.
