I RESOLUTION NO. R-103-15 <br />2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON TO ACCEPT A <br />CONTRACT FOR COLTON POLICE DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO <br />3 SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY — ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER; AND <br />TO AMEND THE 2015-2016 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET TO ACCEPT THE INCREASE IN <br />4 REVENUE. <br />5 WHEREAS, The Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year commencing July 1, <br />6 <br />7 2015, and ending June 30, 2016, was approved and adopted; and <br />8 WHEREAS, The approved budget is in accordance with all applicable ordinances and the <br />9 City and all applicable statutes of the State; and <br />10 WHEREAS, the City of Colton desires to enter into the contract with San Bernardino <br />11 County to provide law enforcement services to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. <br />12 <br />WHEREAS, the contract is for a tern of three (3) years commencing October 1, 2015, and <br />13 <br />14 ending September 30, 2018, with option to renew for an additional two (2) years, commencing <br />15 October 1, 2018, and ending September 30, 2020. <br />16 WHEREAS, the contract will result in an increase in revenue to the City of Colton over the <br />17 five-year term of the contract in the amount of $4,473,317.00. <br />18 <br />WHEREAS, the contract will result in a net increase in revenue to the City of Colton over the <br />19 <br />20 remaining nine months of the 2015 — 2016 Fiscal Year in the amount of $175,439.01 <br />21 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />22 HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />1 <br />
