I RESOLUTION NO. R-53-13 <br />2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />3 COLTON, CALIFORNIA ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE <br />FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 2013 AND ENDING <br />4 NNE 30, 2014 <br />5 WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Colton has prepared the proposed annual <br />6 budget for Fiscal Year 2013-14 which sets forth all of the expected revenue and the <br />7 recommended appropriations to meet the operating and capital needs for all of the City's <br />8 operations; and <br />9 WHEREAS, the City held a series of public budget workshops wherein staff presented <br />10 the budget, in detail by department, to the City Council, and <br />I1 WHEREAS, at the end of the workshops, the City Council provided further direction <br />12 regarding the recommendations contained in the Fiscal Year 2013-14 Proposed Budget document <br />13 and modified them so as to best serve the interests of the citizens of the City of Colton. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />14 <br />HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows: <br />15 SECTION 1: The Recommended Budget for the City of Colton for the Fiscal Year <br />16 commencing July 1, 2013 and ending June 30, 2014 as reflected on Attachment A to this <br />17 resolution is hereby approved and adopted and incorporated herein. <br />18 SECTION 2: The General Fund Transfer percentage (the annual administrative <br />19 transfer from the Electric Utility Fund to the General Fund) shall remain at 12.39% for Fiscal <br />20 Year 2013-14. The percentage will be reviewed annually and set during the annual budget <br />21 process. <br />22 SECTION 3: The following positions are hereby authorized for funding: <br />• Network Technician <br />23 <br />• Sr. Office Specialist (Development Services) <br />24 <br />• Office Specialist I (City Clerk) <br />25 <br />• Records Clerk (Police) <br />26 Police Officer — six positions <br />27 . Police Support Services Manager <br />28 <br />
