r� ADJOURNED REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING SEPTEMBER 29, 1994 In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 4:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Gonzales presiding. ROLL CALL• Councilmembers present were Bennett, Sandoval, Rios, Cisneros, Cook, Beltran and Mayor Gonzales. Also present were City Manager Martinez, City Attorney Biggs, Finance Director Chamberlain, Assistant to the City Manager Parrish and City Clerk Ramos. BUDGET SESSION• Community Development Planning Community Development Director Zamora introduced Andres Soto, Principal Planner, Richard Gonzales, Deputy Building Official, and Doraine Hutton, Senior Office Specialist. Director Zamora said his budget begins on Page 9 with the Planning Department, the cut in this budget is $2,000 in Office Equipment Capital Outlay. Staff is in agreement with the modification. Councilmember Sandoval asked for the total Community Development dollar reduction amount. Director Zamora responded that it was approximately $120,000. City Manager Martinez asked Finance Director Chamberlain for the actual figure reduction and asked Director Zamora to continue. Councilmember Sandoval stated he would like to take the time to get the bottom line reduction number. Director Zamora said in retallying the number he comes up with is $118,031. Finance Director Chamberlain said that on Page 20 of the Budget there is a 1994/95 Appropriation Requests Department Summary. The Community Development Actual for 1993-94 was $1,066,183, the Requested Amount for 1994/95 was $1,239,672 and after the modifications, the 1994/95 actual is $1,065,880. City Manager Martinez reported that in review of this budget it was discovered that some of the Code Enforcement Inspectors were doing work in the CDBG area and were being financed by the General Fund.
