COUNCIL MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 15, 1994 <br />A Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was <br />held on the above given date at 6:39 p.m., in the Council Chambers <br />of the City Hall, Mayor Gonzales presiding. <br />PRESENTATION OF COLORS AND FLAG SALUTE: <br />Mayor Gonzales called the Meeting to order, announced the <br />presentation of colors by the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 128 and <br />led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />INVOCATION: <br />Invocation was offered by Chaplain Manny Orio. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Bennett, Sandoval, Rios, Cisneros, <br />Cook, Beltran, and Mayor Gonzales. Also present were City Manager <br />Young, City Attorney Biggs and City Clerk Ramos. <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATION <br />Presentation by Senator Ayala's Office was continued to next City <br />Council Meeting. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />Joint Meeting with Planning Commission <br />Mr. Ramon Hernandez, 999 Rose St., Chair of the Planning <br />Commission, extended an invitation for a Joint Meeting between the <br />City Council and Planning Commission for the purpose of <br />establishing goals and objectives and requested that Council direct <br />City Attorney Biggs and Director Zamora to develop agenda items. <br />Police Department <br />Mr. Ramon Hernandez spoke about the Citizens Patrol which allowed <br />him to experience this service which he found to be informational <br />and a positive reinforcement of the community's relations with the <br />Police Department. He thanked Chief Lunsford for a tremendous job. <br />Additionally, he thanked each and every member of the Police <br />Department for their welcome, their generosity and their <br />helpfulness. <br />1 <br />FEB 15 1994 <br />
