CITY COUNCIL ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />AUGUST 8, 1995 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at <br />5:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Fulp presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Mayor Fulp led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Sandoval, Bennett, Cook, Sanders, Beltran, Hutton <br />and Mayor Fulp. Also present were City Attorney Biggs, City Manager Martinez, <br />and City Clerk Ramos. <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />City Manager Martinez requested Item No. 14, "Review and Approval of the Plans <br />and Schedule of Compliance with Cease and Desist Order #95-36" be placed on the <br />regular agenda so the Council may vote in order to meet a deadline on August 14, <br />1995. City Attorney Biggs requested Item No. 2 be deleted from the agenda <br />unless there is a two-thirds vote to reconsider this item. City Attorney Biggs <br />stated Items 6. 7. and 8 call for a second reading and need to be considered <br />tonight. Councilmember Bennett agreed to place Item No. 2 under Mayor/Council <br />Cormnents. Motion by Mayor Fulp, seconded by Councilmember Beltran, to keep Item <br />14 on the agenda. The motion was passed by unanimous vote. Motion by Mayor <br />Fulp, seconded by Councilmember Sandoval, to consider Items 6. 7. and 8. The <br />motion was carried with a unanimous vote. <br />City Attorney Biggs noted that Public Com-ent was held at the last meeting and <br />was closed; Public Comment may be reopened at this adjourned meeting if the <br />Council wishes. <br />KkYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />Regarding Cease and Desist Order, Consider Policy Identifying and Tracking the <br />Capacity of Each New Project. <br />Councilmember Bennett requested the Council direct staff to set up a policy. <br />CounciLTember Bennett stated members of the Regional Water Quality Board have <br />indicated this would help move the City toward the lifting of the Cease and <br />Desist Order. City Manager Martinez stated Item No. 14 will address this issue. <br />1 <br />AUG 0 8 1995 <br />
