ADJOURNED CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MARCH 13, 1995 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular <br />Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above <br />given date at 5:35 P. M., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor <br />Fulp presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Mayor Fulp led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Hutton, Sandoval, Bennett, Cook, Sanders, <br />Beltran and Mayor Fulp. Also present were City Attorney Biggs, City <br />Manager Martinez, and City Clerk Ramos. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS <br />Councilmember Beltran requested that Agenda Item No. 1 be continued to <br />3/21/95 agenda as there can be no discussion or action without a <br />resolution and the Mayor so ordered. <br />STAFF REPORTS: <br />CITY TREASURER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Mayor Fulp noted that the City Treasurer is not present at this time. <br />ELECTRIC UTILITY DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Colton Portland Cement Plant <br />Electric Utility Director Clarke stated that the City has begun <br />negotiations with California Portland Cement Plant. Initially, City <br />staff has been asked to put together an issues (pro and con) list which <br />will be presented to California Portland Cement Plant. With Council <br />approval, Mayor Fulp continued the matter to the Agenda of April 18, <br />1995. Councilmember Beltran said he had been in communication with Mr. <br />Jim Roddy, Executive Director of the County's Local Agency Formation <br />Commission, who has expressed a willingness to come at anytime to speak <br />with staff or to Council.
