: m1 <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />AUGUST 1, 1995 <br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the <br />above given date at 6:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Fulp <br />presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Mayor Fulp led the assembly in the Pledge of .Allegiance. <br />INVOCATION: <br />Chaplain Jim Stovall offered the invocation. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Counci3members,present were Hutton, Sandoval, Bennett, Cook, Sanders, Beltran <br />and Mayor Fulp. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS <br />Mayor Fulp stated that this past Saturday night he and his wife, Susan, attended <br />the Little Miss Colton Beauty Pageant, and'Councilmember Cook was kind enough to <br />join them. Mayor Fulp introduced the former Little Miss Colton, Alexis Alvarez, <br />followed by the introduction of this year's Little Miss Colton, Kayla Maskell. <br />Mayor Fulp spent time with each Little Miss Colton and presented each with the <br />Mayor's "kudos" which represents a symbol of affection and admiration. <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />City Manager Martinez reported that the Director of Neighborhood Services has a <br />subsequent need item that he requests be added to tonight's agenda. City Manager <br />Martinez reported Director Anstine needs to hire the lifeguards for the pool and <br />interviews were completed this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. <br />City Attorney Biggs reported there are also two items that need to be added to <br />Closed Session, Item C, under pending litigation: States vs the City of Colton <br />and. Ewing vs Ramos, City Clerk. <br />Moved by Councilmember Sandoval, seconded by CouncilmemberHutton, to add the <br />lifeguard matter under the Consent Calendar as Item 19A, and to add the two <br />Closed Session Items of States vs the City of Colton and Ewing vs Ramos, City <br />Clerk.
