M., in the Council Chambers of City I -Jail,, Mayor Gaytan presiding. <br />V <br />FLAG SAIATTE: <br />Mayor Ga.yta.n invited Police Chief Lunsford to lead the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />INVOCATION: <br />Chaplain Kim Starr offered the invocation. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Present were Councilmember Don Sanders, Councilm.ernber John Hutton, Councilmember. <br />Kelly Chastain, Councilmember Betty Cook, COUncilmember Deirdre Bennett, <br />Councilmegiber' David Sandoval and Mayor Gaytan. Also present were Acting City Manager <br />Harmon City Attorney Biggs and City Clerk Barrera. <br />CLOSED SESS-10-N: <br />City Attorney Biggs requested to add the matter of Sfeiwrcl v. Stindo-va 1,... eVal, to Item <br />B which, she advised.., required a five -person. vote, <br />Motion/second by CM. Bennett/Cook, to add the matter of *eiva-rtl v. &L)g1ov-q1,Bin m, et yl <br />1,� <br />to Item B of the Closed Session, carried with CM Sandoval abstaining therefrom. <br />City Attorney Biggs announced that the City Council. would meet in Closed Session, pursuant <br />to Government Code Section 54957,6,1 to confer with its Labor Negotiator, Gracie Fema'ndez <br />Harmon, regarding negotiations with representatives of the Fire, Police Rank & File and <br />Police Management Bargaining Units. <br />City Attorney Biggs announced that the City Council would meet in Closed Session, pursuant <br />to Government Code Section 549-56.9(b) to confer with its Legal Counsel regarding the <br />following matters of pending litigation - <br />Citof olfoii - CV 96-29 73 <br />y C <br />Cily..of.Colton v.
