CITY OF COLTON <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />JANUARY 5, 1999 <br />Regular Meeting held on the above given date at 6:14 P. M., in the Council Chambers of City <br />Hall, with Mayor Gaytan, presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Pledge of Allegiance led by Fire Chief Hendrix. <br />INVOCATION <br />Invocation offered by Pastor Tom Harvick. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />PR£SEn7 <br />CM Donald J. Sanders <br />CM Kelly J. Chastain <br />CM Deirdre H. Bennett <br />Mayor Karl E. Gaytan <br />City Manager Garcia <br />City Clerk Barrera <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />CM Richard A. DeLaRosa <br />CM Betty L. Cook <br />CM James B. Grimsby <br />City Attorney Carvalho <br />➢ Recognition of the Colton's "No Fear," all girls under 14, champion soccer team and <br />introduction of coach, staff and team members. Proclamations will be issued. <br />➢ Proclamation honoring success of the Bloomington High School Football Team. <br />➢ Police Chief Crowe introduced Officer Claudia Moran and Officer Eric Campa. <br />Permit Request by L. O. Productions and M. L. M. Amusements <br />There was a request for continuance. <br />MOTION/VOTE: Motion made by CM Chastain, seconded by CM Grimsby, to approve the <br />request subject to staffs approval and confirmation that all conditions, required by Municipal <br />Code, have been met. There was no objection to the motion for approval. Upon request, City <br />Manager agreed to have the Plaza Las Glorias parking lot cleaned prior to this event. <br />City Council Mins January 5, 1999 <br />
