I ADJOURNED REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />JUNE 8, 1999 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 6:45 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City <br />Hall, Mayor Gaytan presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE <br />Police Chief Crowe led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Grimsby, Bennett, Cook, Chastain, DeLaRosa, Sanders and Mayor <br />Gaytan. Also present were City Manager Garcia, City Attorney Marco C. Martinez, and City Clerk <br />Barrera. <br />At the request of Mayor Gaytan, Motion/second by CM Chastain/Sanders to add a Closed Session <br />Agenda and an item for discussion which relates to the revocation of the Dance Permit for the Rocks <br />Club, as there was a need to take immediate action and was a late -breaking item, pursuant to <br />Government Code §54954.2(b) (2), and the matter arose subsequent to the posting of the Agenda, <br />pursuant to Government Code §54954.2(a), carried with no opposition to the motion. The Closed <br />Session item would be discussed before taking up the business of Item 2 of the Agenda. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Attorney Roger Diamond, Legal Counsel for the Rocks Club, withdrew his time to speak after City <br />Attorney Martinez explained that the agenda item he wished to address would be taken in the order of <br />the agenda. <br />ACTION ITEMS: <br />City Manager reported that the final item to be presented as part of the review of the two year budget <br />related to the Colton Utility Department as it related to the new positions for FY 1999-2000 and FY <br />2000-2001. <br />Tom Clarke, Utility Director, presented a power point presentation a summary of positions by <br />division: <br />➢ Electric Division: <br />Marketing Manager <br />Revenue Manager <br />Substation Electrician <br />Customer Service Representative <br />Asset Manager <br />�— Senior Substation Electrician <br />
