CITY OF COLTON <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />APRIL 18, 2000 <br />Regular Meeting held on the above given date at 6: 10 P. M., in the Council Chambers of City <br />Hall, with Mayor Pro Tempore Bennett, presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Police Chief Crowe led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />INVOCATION <br />Dr. Tom Harvick led the invocation. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />PRESENT <br />CM Donald J. Sanders <br />CM Kelly J. Chastain <br />CM James B. Grimsby <br />STAFF PRESENT <br />City Manager Garcia <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />CM Richard A. DeLaRosa <br />CM Betty L. Cook <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Deirdre H. Bennett <br />City Clerk Barrera <br />City Attorney Derleth <br />Certificate of Recognition presented to the Kiwanis Club of Colton for their accomplishments <br />for the community; Art Thompson accepted and introduced the President, Yvonne Parker who <br />presented a Certificate of Appreciation to CM Cook. <br />Proclamation declaring National Community Development Week, April 24-30, 2000, <br />presented to Community Development Director Zamora, who was present to accept the <br />document. <br />Richard Jarvis, Executive Director of the American Heart Association, extended an invitation <br />to the Hearts of our Cities Gala Dinner on May 10, 2000. <br />30, Proclamation, honoring Nickelodeon Pizza for its 30 years of service in Frontier Town, <br />presented to Gary Grossich, who invited everyone to the "Farewell to Frontiertown.
