M., in the Council Chambers of City <br />Hall, with Mayor Pro Tempore Bennett, presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Captain Heusterberg led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />INVOCATION <br />Pastor Don Wiley led the invocation. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />PRESENT <br />CM Donald J. Sanders CM Richard A. DeLaRosa <br />CM Kelly J. Chastain CM Betty L. Cook <br />CM James B. Grimsby Mayor Pro Tempore Deirdre H. Bennett <br />ABSENT <br />Mayor Karl E. Gaytan <br />STAFF PRESENT <br />City Manager Garcia City Attorney Carvalho <br />Acting City Clerk Delgado <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />➢ Proclamation was read recognizing the agreement between Southern California International <br />College (SCIC) and Summit Career College (SCC). <br />➢ Mr. Ron Kenny was introduced as the Interim Recreation and Parks Director for the <br />Neighborhood Services Department. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS: <br />Tract 15784 <br />In response to inquiry of draining problems at Johnston Street and Hunter Road, Public Works <br />Director Hutton said a hydrology study by Thatcher Engineering, approved by the City Engineer, <br />for the project off of Hunter Road, showed that there was a reduction of drainage from this <br />City Council Mins Feb 1, 2000 1 <br />
