CITY OF COLTON <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />MARCH 21, 2000 <br />Regular Meeting held on the above -given date at 6:13 P. M., in the Council Chambers of City <br />Hall, with Mayor Pro Tempore Bennett, presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Police Chief Pat Crowe led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />INVOCATION <br />Chaplain Bob Johnson led the invocation. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />PRESENT <br />CM Donald J. Bennetl <br />City Clerk Barrera <br />City Attorney Derleth <br />➢ Proclamation declaring the week of April 9-15, 2000 as "National Victims' Week" sponsored <br />by the Inland Empire Chapter of Families & Friends of Murder Victims. <br />➢ Proclamation declaring the week of April 2-8, 2000 as "National Records and Information <br />Management Week" in recognition of the Colton City Clerk's Office. <br />➢ Certificates of Recognition presented to the Colton High School Crimson Academic Decathlon <br />Team, who placed second overall out of 47 teams in competition held at Cal State San <br />Bernardino. Three of the champions were present: Veronica Nunn, Tiffany Andache and <br />Kelly Baden. Certificates were presented to Coach DeGroff and Coach Holly Lacy. <br />➢ Certificate of Recognition awarded to Kiwanis Club of Cooley Ranch for their time and labor, <br />saving the City approximately $1,200, in the beautification of the Cesar E.
