CITY OF COLTON <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIUREDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY <br />AUTHORITY/SPECIAL COLTON PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />JANUARY 7, 2003 <br />Regular Meeting held on the above -given date at 6:07 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City <br />Hall, with Mayor Bennett presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />CM Ramos led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />INVOCATION: <br />Pastor Paul Stump led the invocation. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Members Present: <br />Mayor Deirdre H. Bennett <br />Ramon M. Hernandez <br />Richard A. De La Rosa <br />Kelly J. Chastain <br />John D. Mitchell <br />Helen A. Ramos <br />Sarah S. Zamora <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />Staff Present: <br />Daryl Parrish, City Manager <br />Dean Derleth, City Attorney <br />Carolina P. Barrera, City Clerk <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST ISSUES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF JANUARY <br />7, 2003. <br />Mayor Bennett asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict <br />of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />None <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS: <br />(1) Authorize the Award of the Architectural Design Contract for the Repair/Renovation of City <br />Hall to Kwang Cook and Associates in the Amount Not -to -Exceed $49,945, and Authorize <br />the City Manager to Execute the City's Model Architectural Services Agreement with any <br />Minor Changes Approved by the City Manager and City Attorney as Appropriate; Authorize <br />an Allocation of $49,945 from General Fund CIP Reserve Account, Transferring Funds <br />from Budgetary Savings in other CIP Projects. <br />City Engineer Amer Jahker presented an overview of item for consideration and requested <br />approval of staffs recommendation. <br />
