CITY OF COLTON <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />June 3, 2003 <br />Regular Meeting held on the above -given date at 6:10 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City <br />Hall, with Mayor Pro Tempore Chastain presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Pastor Bob Johnson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />INVOCATION: <br />Police Chaplain Kirby Pickus led the invocation. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Members Present: <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Kelly J <br />Ramon M. Hernandez <br />Richard A. De La Rosa <br />John D. Mitchell <br />Helen A. Ramos <br />Sarah S. Zamora <br />Absent <br />Mayor Deirdre Bennett <br />Staff Present: <br />Chastain Daryl Parrish, City Manager <br />Dean Derleth, City Attorney <br />Carolina P. Barrera, City Clerk <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS: <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Chastain called the newly hired Police Chief Kenneth Rulon forward to the <br />dais. <br />The Oath of Office was administered by City Clerk Barrera, followed by the pinning of the <br />official badge by Mrs. Rulon. <br />At 6:22 p.m., Mayor Pro Tempore Chastain declares a brief recess and invited everyone to <br />attend a reception in the City Hall lobby. At 6:47 p.m., meeting was reconvened with all <br />members present as heretofore. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST ISSUES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF JUNE 3, <br />2003. <br />Mayor Pro Tempore Chastain asked the members present if there were any agenda items that <br />were a conflict of interest pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030.
