R-10-89 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, ENTITLED <br />AS FOLLOWS: RULES AND REGULATIONS TO GOVERN THE OPERATION <br />OF HERMOSA MEMORIAL GARDENS CEMETERY, COLTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />A CEMETERY OWNED BY THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, A <br />MUNICIPAL CORPORATION. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON does resolve as <br />f ollows: <br />SECTION 1. Sale. Transfer and ReDurchase of Lots and <br />Crypts <br />(a) All lots sold within the bounds of said cemetery shall <br />be used for no purpose other than the interment of the human <br />dead. <br />(b) The sale, transfer, or assignment of a burial lot in the <br />cemetery shall not be valid until an entry of such sale, trans- <br />fer, or assignment has been made upon the records of the ceme- <br />tery. <br />(c) A processing/transfer fee of twenty-five ($25) dollars, <br />will be charged on all property returns and transfers. This fee <br />may be waived by the Cemetery Manager in instances where trans- <br />fer or return of property is advantageous to the City. <br />(d) The sale, transfer, or assignment of a burial lot in the <br />cemetery cannot be made after the natural interment has taken <br />place therein, unless and in accordance with all existing laws, <br />all bodies have been removed therefrom. <br />(e) Prices of lots, endowment costs, interment charges, sale <br />prices of resale merchandise, and other miscellaneous charges <br />shall. be established and adjusted as necessary by resolution. <br />I <br />
