RESOLUTION NO. 2682 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> COLTON, CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE FACT OF THE <br /> GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY OF <br /> COLTON ON THE 12TH DAY OF APRIL, 1966, DECLARING <br /> 1 THE RESULT THEREOF AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS AS ARE <br /> PROVIDED BY LAW, <br /> 2 <br /> 3 WHEREAS, a regular general municipal election was held <br /> 4 and conducted in the City of Colton, County of San Bernardino, <br /> 5 State of California, on Tuesday, the 12th day of April, 1966, <br /> 6 as required by law; and <br /> 7 WHEREAS, notice of said election was duly and regularly <br /> 8 given in time, form and manner as provided by law; that voting <br /> g precincts were properly established; that election officers were <br /> 10 appointed and that in all respects said election was held and <br /> 11 conducted and the votes cast thereat, received and canvassed and <br /> 12 the returns made and declared in time, form and manner as <br /> 13 required by the provisions of the Election Code of the State of <br /> 14 California for the holding of elections in general law cities ; and <br /> 15 WHEREAS, on the 19th day of April, 1966 at the hour of <br /> 16 7 : 30 P.M. the City Council, duly assembled, at its usual place of <br /> i <br /> 17 meeting, and has canvassed the returns of said election and <br /> 18 as a result of which, the City Council finds that the number <br /> 19 of votes cast and the names of the persons voted for, and other <br /> 20 matters required by law to be as stated hereinafter; <br /> 21 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, <br /> 22 CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 23 Section 1. That there were nine voting precincts establish d <br /> 24 for the purpose of holding said election consisting of consolida- <br /> 25 tions of the regular election precincts in the City of Colton <br /> 26 as established for the holding of state and county elections . <br /> 27 Section 2 . That said regular general municipal election <br /> 28 was held for the purpose of electing the following officers of <br /> 29 said city as required by the laws relating to general law cities <br /> ' 30 in the State of California, to-wit: <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
