1 RESOLUTION NO. 2678 2 RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF COLTON OF UNINHABITED TERRITORY 3 DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "EAST COLTON ANNEXATION NO. 25 " AND GIVING NOTICE OF TIME 4 AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS THERETO. 5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON: 6 Section 1. That, pursuant to the provisions of the 7 Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 (Special 8 procedure under Section 35310.1 Government Code) a petition 9 signed by the owners of all the land in the hereinafter described 10 territory was filed with the City of Colton requesting annexation 11 of the following described territory to the City of Colton. 12 Section 2 . That the territory which the petitioner is 13 proposing to annex to the City of Colton is situate in the 14 County of San Bernardino, State of California, hereby designated b 15 "Annexation East 25 " to the City of Colton and described as 16 follows: 17 Being portions of Lots 35 through 44, 48, 49, 51 and portion of Lot F of McDonald Hot Springs Subdivision, 18 Tract No. 2290, as recorded in Map Book 33, Pages 26 and 27, T1S, R4W, in the County of San Bernardino, State 19 of California, and described as follows: 20 Beginning at the intersection of the northeasterly line of Glenwood Street, prolonged southeasterly, and 21 the northwesterly line of Colton Avenue; said point being a point in the Corporate Boundary of the City of Colton' 22 thence along said Corporate Boundary line, northwesterly along said southeasterly prolongation and continuing north- 23 westerly along the northeasterly line of said Glenwood Street, a distance of 555 feet to the southeasterly corner 24 of Lot 1, Block 1 of the Wheeler Resub as recorded in Book 24 of Maps, Page 44, records of said County; thence 25 northeasterly along the southeasterly line of said Lot 1, and leaving the Colton Boundary line, northeasterly along 26 the northeasterly prolongation of said Lot 1 to the centerline of the San Bernardino County Flood Control 27 Channel; thence southeasterly along said centerline to its intersection with the northeasterly line of Colton 28 Avenue; thence southwesterly along said northwesterly line of said Colton Avenue to the Point of Beginning. 29 30 Section 3 . That the Local Agency Formation Commission of 31 San Bernardino. County, California, did in session duly assembled 32 on December 24, 1965, approve the proposed annexation
