j, <br />City of <br />olton <br />Proclamation <br />WEEK OF THE YOUNG CHILD <br />April 18-24, 1993 <br />WHEREAS, Kindercare Learning Center located at 1730 East <br />Washington Street in Colton is observing the WEEK OF <br />THE YOUNG CHILD, which is a nation wide event, from <br />April 18-24, 1993; and, <br />WHEREAS, Kindercare Learning Center in celebration of the <br />Week of the Young Child has scheduled on Sunday, <br />April 25th, arts and crafts for the children to <br />participate in, games, relays, balloons, astro jump, <br />face painting, clown and will have refreshments; and <br />WHEREAS, two banners for the months of February, March, April <br />and May will be displayed at Kindercare Learning <br />Center to commemorate the young child; and, <br />WHEREAS, Pamela Richardson, Director of Kindercare Learning <br />Center, extends an invitation to the communities of <br />Colton and Grand Terrace to join her in this celebra- <br />tion. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, I, Frank A. Gonzales, Mayor of the City of <br />Colton and my fellow Councilmembers do hereby pro- <br />claim April 18-24, 1993 as WEEK OF THE YOUNG CHILD <br />and urge all local residents to join and participate <br />in this observance. <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and cause the <br />Seal of the City of Colton to be affixed this 6th day <br />of April, 1993. <br />
