VERALRUD <br />Deputy City Clerk <br />City of Colton <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />AUGUST 18, 1981 <br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above <br />given date at 7:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Gonzales <br />presiding. <br />Mayor Gonzales led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Invocation was offered by Father Michael Keane of Immaculate Conception Church. <br />(Y) ROLL CALL: <br />7 <br />Q Council Members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor Gonzales. <br />Q Also present were City Manager Trevino, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk <br />Ramos. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />Minutes <br />August 4, 1981 <br />Warrants <br />10590, 10591, 10612 through 10870 <br />10877 through 11105 <br />100569 through 100753 <br />August 13, 1981 <br />Parcel Maps <br />Report from City Treasurer regarding parcel split maps together with copies <br />of maps. <br />Contracts <br />County of San Bernardino - Sheriff's Pistol Range and Helicopter Services. <br />Agreements <br />Pacific Telephone Company, Ground Wire Contact. <br />Purchases <br />Purchase of leased automobile for pool car. <br />Fees <br />Payment of sewer fees to the City of San Bernardino. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve the Consent <br />Calendar. Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Proclamations <br />91 <br />Mayor Gonzales read in full a Proclamation on behalf of Cecilia Mestas, Library Page <br />for the Colton Public Library, commending her on receipt of two scholarships. Mayor <br />Gonzales presented the Proclamation to Miss Mestas. <br />Mayor Gonzales read in full a Proclamation honoring the Ken Hubbs Little League <br />League Baseball Team, winners of the 1981 District 21 All Star Tournament, and in- <br />troduced each player to the Council and audience. The Proclamation was presented <br />to the President of the League, Mrs. Sheila Anne Rios. <br />Mrs. Rios then read a letter from the League commending the Parks Division and <br />Electric Department, in particular Gabe Castorena and Gale Drews, for their fine <br />work and cooperation during the baseball season. <br />AUG 18 1981 <br />
