234 CLOSED SESSION: The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 8:06 P.M. to discuss matters of Litigation and reconvened at 8:26 P.M., all Members present. ADJOURNMENT: Mayor Huntoon adjourned the meeting at 8:28 P.M. to meet for an Adjourned Meeting in Joint Session with the Redevelopment Agency on Monday, July 26, 1982, at 7:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers of City Hall. RAMOS, CMC City Clerk, City of Colton Approved this 3rd day of August, 1982 JOINT CITY COUNCIL AND REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETING JULY 26, 1982 A Joint Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton and the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 7:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Huntoon and Chairperson Garcia pre- siding. lgll !T= Council Members present were Rios, Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor Huntoon. Also present were Acting City Manager Elliott, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. PUBLIC HEARINGS: Mayor Huntoon stated this is a Joint Public Hearing between the City Council of the City of Colton and the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton on the Redevelopment Plan and Environmental Impact Report for the Santa Ana River Re- development Project. City Clerk Ramos reported that pursuant to the appropriate sections of the Cali- fornia Community Redevelopment Law, Notice has been duly given that the City Council of the City of Colton and the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton have auth- orized a Joint Public Hearing to consider the approval and adoption of the Redevel- opment Plan for this Santa Ana River Redevelopment Project which will be referred to as the "Redevelopment Plan." Notice of this Hearing was published in the Colton Courier, a newspaper of general circulation, on July 1, July 8, July 15, and July 22, 1982. The Acting Executive Director of the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton, for the City Clerk, has caused to be mailed by Certified Mail, Notice of this Public Hearing to the last known assessee of each parcel of land in the Project Area. 717�t1L1� Redevelopment Agency Members present were Rios, Cisneros, Rehrer, Huntoon and Chairperson Garcia. Also present were Acting Executive Director and Secretary Elliott, Legal Counsel Brown, and Assistant Secretary Ramos. Mayor Huntoon announced this is the time and place set for the Joint Public Hear- ing of the City Council of the City of Colton and the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton on the proposed Redevelopment Plan for the Santa Ana River Redevelop- ment Project, and the proposed Environmental Impact Report on the Santa Ana River Redevelopment Project, hereinafter referred to as the "Environmental Impact Report." At this Hearing all persons who wish to speak for or against the proposed Redevelop- ment Plan and the Environmental Impact Report will have an opportunity to speak.
