329 CLOSED SESSION: The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 7:50 p. m. to discuss Meet and Confer Matters, and reconvened at 8:17 p. m., all Members present. ADJOURNMENT: Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Rios and unanimous- ly passed, Mayor Huntoon adjourned the meeting at 8:20 p. m., to meet for an Adjourned Regular Meeting on Monday, June 13, 1983, at 5:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall. ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING QJune 13, 1983 In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 5:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Huntoon presiding. ROLL CALL: Council Members present were Rios, Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor Huntoon. Also present were City Manager Elliott, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. Budget General City Manager Elliott reported that Assistant Finance Director Young would give the budget overview. Mr. Young presented the Preliminary Budget Summary listing revenues and proposed expenditures, and itemizing the use of Revenue Sharing Funds. Mayor Huntoon requested that the Summary presented be available in written form for Council Members. City Manager Elliott reported the first budget for consideration would be that of City Council. City Council City Manager Elliott stated that under Account No. 1-1001-28, Travel _ and Meetings, he has included an increase of $100.00 for the Mayor and Council Members for car and miscellaneous expenses due to inflation of expenses not covered under the current $150.00 per month allowance. Councilwoman Garcia suggested that the $100.00 increase recommended by the City Manager not be included and stated that if Council Members incurred expenses, these could be turned in for reimbursement through regular channels. Mayor Huntoon and Councilman Rehrer commented that method required too much record keeping. City Clerk City Clerk Ramos presented the department's budget stating the budget is substantially the same as last year with the following exceptions:
