Vernon Avenue, submitted a list of <br />items purchased for the Community Centers with funds obtained from <br />the sale of a french fryer, originally bought for the Hutton Center. <br />Mrs. Karr gave copies of the list to the City Council. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 8:13 P. m., to discuss <br />N Personnel Matters, and reconvened at 8:48 p. m., all Members present. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />7 <br />Q Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilman Rehrer and unani- <br />mously passed, Mayor Huntoon adjourned the meeting at 8:50 p. m., <br />to meet for an Adjourned Regular Meeting on Friday, March 11, 1983, <br />at 5:00 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall. <br />HELEN A. RAMOS, CMC <br />City Clerk <br />City of Colton <br />ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING <br />March 11, 1983 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned <br />Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held <br />on the above given date at 5:00 p. m., in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall, Mayor Huntoon presiding. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council Members present were Rios, Cisneros, Garcia, and Mayor <br />Huntoon. Also present were City Manager Elliott, City Attorney <br />Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. Absent was Councilman Rehrer. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Housing & Community Development Block Grant: <br />Res. Nos. 4295 & 429 <br />Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and re- <br />ported that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Planning Director Aguilera reported from his memorandum dated <br />March 9, 1983, as follows: <br />Staff has been informed by the State Department of Housing and <br />Community Development that the City may be eligible for a $600,000 <br />grant from the Community Development Block Grant program for the <br />1983-84 fiscal year. The program is essentially the same as when it <br />was administered by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, <br />with the basic eligible activities falling into the three major <br />catagories of housing, public facilities and economic development. <br />These activities include, but are not limited to, acquisition of <br />
