ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING <br />JANUARY 26, 1988 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular <br />Meeting of the City Council was held on the above given date at 6:00 <br />p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Gonzales presiding. <br />R O T.T. r A T.T. <br />Council Members present were Rios, Cisneros, Garcia, and Mayor Gonzales. <br />Also present were City Manager Benest, City Attorney Edwards, and City <br />Clerk Ramos. Councilman Rehrer entered the Council Chambers at 6:17 <br />p. M. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 6:07 p. m., to discuss <br />Pending Litigation, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(a) and <br />54956.9(b)(1), regarding Grand Terrace Sewer issues, and reconvened at <br />7:00 p. m., all Members present. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />Boards & Commissions <br />Mayor Gonzales stated that Councilman Rehrer is requesting the appoint- <br />ments to the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission be held over <br />to the next regular Council Meeting, February 2, 1988, to give him more <br />time to study the names of prospective members. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />UDAG <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Continuance of the Public Hearing. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Posting Continuance. <br />City Manager Benest requested that this matter be continued indefinite- <br />ly, as Staff has been negotiating with developers and more time will <br />be needed. <br />City Clerk Ramos requested a specific date for posting the continuance. <br />Staff recommended the date of Tuesday, August 2, 1988. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to <br />continue the UDAG Public Hearing to Tuesday, August 2, 1988.
