In order to classify, regulate, restrict and segregate the uses of land and buildings, to regulate and restrict the height and bulk of buildings and to regulate the area of yards and other open spaces about buildings, and to regulate the density of population,, the following classes of zones are established by this ordinance; RE Residential Zone R 1 One -Family Residential Zone R2 Two -Family Residential Zone R3 Multiple -Family Residential Zone Cl Neighborhood Commercial Zone C2 General Commercial Zone ML Manufacturing Limited Zone Ml Light Manufacturing Zone M2 Heavy Manufacturing Zone "X" Combining Regulation Zone., The "X" Combining Zone may be combined with any zoning district and modify any permitted use, provisions or regulations within that Combined Zone as specified by the Planning Commission. Where development plans have been approved by the Planning Commission in the "X" Combining Zone, building permits will only be issued in conformity with the approved development plan. Any modification of the development plan must be approved by the Planning Commission. SECTION 2„ That Section 301 (2) of Ordinance No. 964 is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 301 (2) All other uses are less restrictive in the order they are first permitted in the Zones: in the sequence shown: RE, R--1, R-2, R-3, C-1, C-2, ML., M-1, M-2. SECTION 3.. Article IXA is hereby added to Ordinance No,. 964. ARTICLE IXA - ML, Manufacturing Limited Zone.
