CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED "WEST COLTON ANNEXATION NO. 25" TO THE i CITY OF COLTON. 4 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON: 6'! WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of July, 1968, the Council 71 of y i' the Cit of Colton did pass and adopt Resolution No. 2892 i 8 giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited ter 91 ritory to the City of Colton, said territory being therein 10 designated as "West Colton Annexation No. 25" said Resolution 11 12 I describing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; 1,31, and 14I WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 2892 did contain a notice i 15 of the day, hour and place when and where the Council of the City 16i would hear protests made by any person owning real property within 171 the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing I 18 ! ! ! being not less than forty nor more than sixty days from the date 19 ! 20 li of passage of said Resolution; and 21ji WHEREAS, on the 20th day of August, 1968, at the hour 22, of 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center located 231 at 650 North Eighth Street in the City of Colton, County of San 24i' Bernardino, State of California, said time and place being the 25 i day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution No. 2892 for hearing 26 protests to the said annexation, the said City Council did hear 27 28 and pass upon all protests made to the proposed annexation and 29 ! did determine that protests had not been made by the owners of i 30, one-half of the value of the privately owned territory proposed 311 to be annexed as shown by the last equalized assessment roll, I� 32 nor by public owners of one-half of the value of the publicly
