2 <br />3� <br />i <br />6 <br />1.2 j <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1337 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF <br />CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED <br />"SOUTH COLTON ANNEXATION NO. 22 TO <br />CITY OF COLTON. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON: <br />WHEREAS, on the 6th day of August, 1968, the Council <br />of the City of Colton did pass and adopt Resolution No. 2901 <br />giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited ter- <br />ritory to the City of Colton, said territory being therein <br />designated as 1°South Colton Annexation No. 22" said Resolution <br />describing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annex- <br />ed; and <br />WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 2901 did contain a <br />notice of the day, hour and place when and where the Council <br />of the City would hear protests made by any person owning real <br />il <br />1811 property within the territory proposed to be annexed, the time <br />I <br />19 of said hearing being not less than forty nor more than sixty <br />�i <br />?0 days from the date of passage of said Resolution; and <br />Y <br />21 <br />WHEREAS, on the lst day of October, 1968, at the hour <br />22 <br />23 <br />i <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />29 <br />of 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center located <br />at 650 North Eighth Street in the City of Colton, County of San <br />Bernardino, State of California, said time and place being the <br />I day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution No. 2901 for hear- <br />ing protests to the said annexation, the said City Council did <br />i <br />I <br />i( hear and pass upon all protests made to the proposed annexation <br />I� and did determine that protests had not been made by the owners <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />i <br />,I <br />of one-half of the value of the privately owned territory pro- <br />posed to be annexed as shown by the last equalized assessment <br />
