CERTAIN UN- <br />INHABITED TERRITORY GENLQLY KNOWN AS. "WEST <br />COLTON ANNEXATION NUMBER SIX" TO THE CITY OF <br />COLTON <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton has been presented <br />and has received a written petition containing a description of the following <br />described territory, to -wit: <br />All of that portion of the West one-half of Section 19, <br />Township 1 South, Range 4 West, San Bernardino Base and <br />Meridian, County of San Bernardino, State of California, <br />described as follows: <br />Beginning at the Northwest corner of Government Lot 2 of <br />said Section 19, said corner being in the corporate bounda- <br />ries of the City of Colton; <br />Thence Southerly along the West line of Government Lot 2 <br />of said Section 19 and along the East line of Meridian <br />Avenue, 30 feet wide, to the Southwest corner of Govern- <br />ment Lot 2 of said Section 19; <br />Thence continuing Southerly along the West line of Govern- <br />ment Lot 3 of said Section 19 and the center line of <br />Meridian Avenue, 60 feet wide, to an intersection with the <br />North right-of-way line of Valley Boulevard, said Valley <br />Boulevard being North of and adjacent to State Highway <br />No. 26; <br />Thence Easterly along the North right -of -gay line of said <br />Valley Boulevard to an intersection with the East line of <br />Government Lot 3 of said Section 19; <br />Thence Northerly along the East line of Government Lot 3 <br />of said Section 19 and along the East line of Government <br />Lot 2 of said Section 19 to the Northeast corner of Govern- <br />ment Lot 2 of said Section 19, said corner being in the <br />corporate boundaries of the City of Colton; <br />Thence Westerly along the North line of Government Lot 2 - <br />of said Section 19 and along the corporate boundaries of <br />the City of Colton to the Northwest corner of Government <br />Lot 2 of said Section 19 and to the point of beginning. <br />requesting that same be annexed to and included in the said municipal corpora- <br />tion in accordance with the provisions of the Uninhabited Territory Act of <br />1939, as amended, Article 5, Chapter 1, Part 2, Division 2, Title 4, Government <br />Code of the State of::California, and <br />WHEREAS, the owners of more than one-half the aforesaid real property, <br />
