it <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4562 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />APPROVING A HOUSING POLICY REPORT PURSUANT TO INTERNAL <br />REVENUE CODE SECTION 103A AND DIRECTING ITS FILING WITH <br />THE CITY CLERK AND THE DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton, <br />California ("this City Council") desires to issue mortgage <br />revenue bonds in 1985; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 103A(j)(5) of the Internal Revenue <br />Code of 1954, as amended, and the regulations thereunder <br />(referred to herein as "Section 103A") require the "applicable <br />elected representative" of an issuer of mortgage revenue bonds <br />to publish, after a public hearing, a housing policy report <br />before the issuance of such bonds; and <br />WHEREAS, for the purposes of Section 103A, this City <br />Council is the "applicable elected representative" of the City <br />of Colton; and <br />WHEREAS, this City Council has received and reviewed a <br />draft housing policy report, entitled "Policy Report Under <br />Section 103A", a copy of which is on file with the City Clerk, <br />and has conducted a duly noticed public hearing with respect to <br />said report; and <br />WHEREAS, it is in the public interest and for the <br />public benefit that said housing policy report be approved and <br />published by means of making copies in final form available for <br />distribution to the public, all pursuant to Section 103A. <br />
