Drews, Electric Utility Director."' <br />SUBJECT: REVOCABLE LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH CITY OF Date: July 30, 1990 <br />RIVERSIDE <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Department has a dip pole to serve the Mohave Drive area. The City of <br />Riverside owns the right-of-way on the southeast corner of Mohave Drive and <br />Barton Road. <br />STATEMENT OF PROBLEM <br />At present, any outage in the Mohave Drive area affects that complete area. <br />The Department intends to install a switch to divide the area into three <br />sections to keep any outage to a minimum of residences. The City of Riverside <br />owns the property at the proposed location of the switch pad. The City would <br />have to get an easement from the City of Riverside at the proposed switch pad. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />The Department would have to relocate the switch to another location, which <br />could mean substantial increases in costs and time for installation. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT <br />None. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT <br />None. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The attached agreement has been reviewed and approved by Stephen Edwards. <br />Staff recommends Council approve the agreement. <br />The agreement is on file in t CityCle k's office for your review. <br />City Manager's Concurrence: <br />Attachments: <br />Page 1 of -1 Item No. <br />
