Location: N <br />The Reche Canyon area between Barton Road on the North, and the San <br />Bernardino County Line on the South. <br />2- Area: Q <br />2,920 acres (approximate) <br />3. Existing Use: A <br />Mixed rural and suburban residential, with a minimal amount of commercial, <br />serving area residents. <br />4. General Plan Designation: R <br />Residential Estates <br />5. Existing Zoning: <br />RE (Residential Estates) <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />In January of 1988, the City of Colton initiated the development of the Reche Canyon <br />Specific Plan in response to citizen concerns over growth pressures as well as the evi- 0 <br />dent visual and land use impacts of new tract developments and increased traffic along <br />Reche Canyon Road. The Colton City Council, along with the City of Loma Linda and <br />the County of San Bernardino, authorized the preparation of this Plan.
