JOHNSON <br />Personnel Director .4 <br />SUBJECT: ADOPT JOB DESCRIPTION AND APPROVE SALARY RANGE FOR CUSTODIAL <br />SERVICES SUPERVISOR <br />BACKGROUND <br />Annie Delgado, Maintenance Worker II in the Public Works Department, Building Maintenance Division, <br />requested that her position be studied for reclassification under the City's Administrative Policy 4.05.330. The <br />firm of Comp Plus was contracted with to conduct the classification study. The study revealed that Ms. <br />Delgado functions as a supervisor for custodial services on the night shift. The type of supervision anticipated <br />of positions in the Maintenance Worker II classification is more limited in scope than what is being performed <br />by Ms. Delgado. It is recommended that the position of Custodial Services Supervisor be established with <br />specifications that provide for the additional duties of supervisor. John Hutton concurs with this <br />recommendation.
