Lavin, Water Utilities Manager <br />SUBJECT: <br />Award of Well #24 Drilling Contract to McCalla <br />Bros. in the Amount of $105,102.00 <br />Date: January 25, 1994 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Well #24 is located east of Meridian Avenue and north of Olive Street. The well site is <br />located within the detention basin right-of-way. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />On January 25, 1994 staff received and opened five bids for the drilling of Well #24. <br />The bid results are as follows: <br />1 McCalla Bros. $105,102.00 <br />2. Rottman Drilling Co. $141,053.60 <br />3. Beylik Drilling <br />$157,583.00 <br />4.; Lang 'Exploratory Drilling $174,239.00 <br />5.
