zoo <br />Swimming Pool <br />Mrs. Bea Hernandez, 258 East N Street, Colton, asked for information with regard to the new swimming pool to <br />be located at the high school, as far as hours, days of operation, etc., for the general public. <br />Mrs. Hernandez stated she would like to know about these things, as well as many of the youth of the community <br />who have questioned the availability of the pool if it is to be located at the high school. <br />City Manager Huffaker stated the pool to be located at the high school will follow the same schedule that the <br />City has always maintained for their Recreation Programs, which would be available to the general public as <br />well. <br />Transportation <br />Extension of Bus Service <br />Councilman Gonzales asked if the bus service could be extended along Pine Street, between "0" and Congress <br />Streets, for the convenience of the people in that area. <br />Mayor Huntoon said he could see no reason why not, and that he will bring this matter up at the next S.B.T.S. <br />meeting. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION: <br />The City Council adjourned to Executive Session at 9:12 p. m., and reconvened at 10:22 p. m., all members <br />present. <br />An.ini 1PNMFNT <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, Mayor Huntoon adjourned the meeting at 10:25 p. m., <br />to meet for an Adjourned Regular Meeting on Monday, January 19, 1976, at 7:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers. <br />Approved this day of , 1976. <br />Mayor <br />L/4&,,i Q.9 ez&d'fe �" � <br />HELEN A. RAMOS <br />City Clerk <br />City of Colton <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br />ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING <br />January 19, 1976 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City <br />of Colton was held on the above given date at 7:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Huntoon <br />presiding. <br />Mayor Huntoon led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Invocation was offered by the Reverend T. Arthur Smith, Colton First Baptist Church. <br />RniI mi <br />Council members present were Hayes, Spragins, Rehrer, Gonzales, and Mayor Huntoon. Also present were City <br />Manager Huffaker, City Attorney Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />Minutes <br />January 6, 1976 <br />Warrants <br />4456 through 4653 <br />24469 through 25020 <br />January 15, 1976 Inclusive <br />Chamber of Commerce - request for remaining Budget allocation, approved. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Gonzales, to approve the Consent Calendar. Vote was unanimous. <br />MAYOR'S REPORTS AND PROCLAMATIONS: <br />Commission Appointments <br />Mayor Huntoon announced that Commission Appointments, to the Recreation and Parks Commission and the Civil <br />Service Commission, will be made later in the evening during Executive Session. <br />Presentation of Outstanding Service Award <br />Mayor Huntoon read a letter from the Police Chief regarding a traffic accident that occurred on November 27, <br />1974, involving a Miss Sanchez, whom Councilman Hayes attended while City Manager Huffaker summoned the Police <br />and ambulance. <br />Mayor Huntoon presented to Councilman Hayes the Outstanding Citizen Service Award, and congratulated him for <br />his assistance and bravery. <br />JAN 1 lt1976 <br />
