<br />-Ordinance No. 1491.
<br />City Attorney Edwards introduced Ordinance No. 1491 for second reading, reading it as to number and title
<br />only. Mr. Edwards stated that this ordinance amends the Permit Fees section of the Health and Safety Code,
<br />and brings our Municipal Code up to date to coincide with the County's fee schedule.
<br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Hayes, further reading of Ordinance No. 1491 was waived.
<br />Vote was unanimous.
<br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, second reading was approved and Ordinance No.
<br />1491 adopted. Upon Roll Call, the vote was unanimous.

<br />Second Reading ORDINANCE NO. 14689 HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE, PERMIT FEES.

<br />City y Attorne Edwards stated that Resolution No. 3594 will establish installation fees for mobile homes, in
<br />accordance with the California Administrative Code, Title 25.
<br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve Resolution No. 3594. Vote was
<br />unanimous.

<br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Gonzales, the Claim of the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph
<br />Company versus the City of Colton was denied and referred to our insurance carrier. Vote was unanimous.
<br />Southern California Edison Company
<br />City Attorney Edwards said he wanted to advise the Council members that the condemnation proceedings against
<br />the Southern California Edison Company, for their facilities located near Hermosa Cemetery, will be heard in
<br />Superior Court next week.
<br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS:
<br />Camilla Herrera, 248 East N Street, Colton, reported a problem with the street lights along South Mt. Vernon
<br />Avenue, near East 11M"Street, and along South La Cadena Drive, between "K" and "0" Streets, and that this had
<br />been reported to the City back in December.
<br />Mr. E. H. Robinson, 145 East "G" Street, Colton, requested that the City Council look into the problem of the
<br />serious condition of the Santa Fe Railroad tracks on Valley Boulevard, near 7th Street, and the bad appearance
<br />of Fairway Drive, with its heavy accumulation of thistles. Mr. Robinson also questioned the status of the HUD
<br />application for first year funding, and spoke in opposition to the swimming pool being located at the High
<br />School.
<br />EXECUTIVE SESSION:
<br />The City Council adjourned to Executive Session at 8:55 p. m., to discuss Personnel and Legal matters, and
<br />reconvened at 10:13 p. m., all members present.
<br />ADJOURNMENT:
<br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Gonzales, Mayor Beltran adjourned the meeting at 10:15 p.
<br />m., to meet for an Adjourned Regular Meeting on Monday, March 22, 1976, at 7:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers
