36 Moved b Councilman <br />y Hayes, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve re- <br />quest of St. John's Lutheran Church for use of Fleming Park on Sunday, March 26, <br />1978, from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m., for Easter Sunrise Services. Unanimous vote. <br />Colton Courier <br />Mayor Beltran announced that Jan Michaels, reporter for the Colton Courier, <br />will be leaving this area, and has accepted a position with the Redlands <br />Daily Facts. <br />Mayor Beltran commended Miss Michaels <br />Meetings and Colton news. <br />ADJ011RNMFNT <br />for her efficient coverage of Council <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer and unanimous- <br />ly passed, Mayor Beltran adjourned the meeting at 8:58 p. m., to meet for an <br />Adjourned Regular Meeting on Tuesday, March 14, 1978, at 7:30 p. m., in the <br />Council Chambers of City Hall. <br />v 1, AU 11 <br />JANE M. VERALRUD <br />Deputy City Clerk <br />City of Colton <br />Approved this 21st day of March, 1978. <br />ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING <br />March 14, 1978 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular <br />Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above <br />given date at 7:30 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor <br />Beltran presiding. <br />Mayor Beltran led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Invocation was offered by Councilman Leroy Rehrer. <br />Rni i CAI i <br />Council members present were Hayes, Cisneros, Rehrer, Gonzales, and <br />Mayor Beltran. Also present were City Manager Calabrese, City Attorney <br />Edwards, and City Clerk Ramos. <br />FlPrtinnc <br />Mayor Beltran introduced Resol.ution No. 3788 for consideration and ap- <br />proval, regarding the canvass and result of the General Municipal Elec- <br />tion as conducted by the City Clerk. <br />City Attorney Edwards stated the documents, as presented, are in order <br />and recommended approval of Resolution No. 3788. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve <br />Resolution No. 3788. Vote was unanimous. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3788 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, <br />RECITING THE FACT OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION <br />HELD IN SAID CITY OF COLTON ON THE 7TH DAY OF MARCH, <br />1978, DECLARING THE RESULT THEREOF AND SUCH OTHER <br />MATTERS AS ARE PROVIDED BY LAW. <br />Presentations <br />Councilman Gonzales presented to Mayor Beltran a silver serving tray with <br />an inscription commending and thanking him for his years of dedicated and <br />exemplary service to the City of Colton, from the Council Members and City. <br />MA <br />�9-1 4197a <br />
