53 <br />Air Pollution <br />Mr. Frank Smith, 270 West F Street, Colton, spoke to the City Council with <br />regard to establishing an ordinance to control the problem that is continu- <br />ally created by the operation of the Kelley Grain Mill. <br />This matter was referred to the City Manager's office for attention. <br />Street Vacations <br />Miss Rosemary Colunga spoke to the City Council with regard to the possible <br />vacation of 10th Street for the proposed construction of a movie theater. <br />Miss Colunga stated she felt the movie theater was an excellent idea for the <br />community, especially the youngsters, and that the City should have more <br />recreational programs and activities. <br />Mr. Earl McKetchen stated that although he was not opposed to having a movie <br />theater in the community, he was definitely opposed to the closing of 10th <br />Street due to the important businesses in that area. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer and unanimous- <br />ly passed, Mayor Gonzales adjourned t ting at 8:40 p.m <br />N il, A <br />JANE M.
