RESOLUTION NO. 3922 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />BUDGET: <br />- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY . OF COLTON TO 271 <br />CONSIDER MEMORANDUMS OF UNDERSTANDING FOR MEMBERS OF THE <br />COLTON POLICE ASSOCIATION AND MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL AND <br />FIRE CHAPTERS OF THE SAN BERNARDINO PUBLIC EMPLOYEES ASSO- <br />CIATION OF THE CITY OF COLTON, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1979. <br />392.3 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AMEND- <br />ING RESOLUTION NO. 3344, RULE XI, ATTENDANCE & LEAVES. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked the Council Members what procedure or schedule they wished to <br />follow for review of the 1979-80 Operating Budget. <br />Mr. Ray Abril of 330 East "N" Street, Colton, addressed the City Council asking if <br />the City Council had already taken action and determined that the City's Revenue <br />Sharing money would be split between the Fire and Police Departments as reported <br />in the local newspaper. <br />City Manager Calabrese reported that the City Council has not yet delegated any of <br />the Revenue Sharing money and they, alone, have the authority to designate the use <br />of this money. <br />(1� Mr. Abril stated he represented a community group who is interested in obtaining <br />$60,000 from Revenue Sharing Funds for recreational activities throughout the City, <br />including night use of the community centers. <br />Discussion followed. On Council consensus, Mr. Abril was asked to work with Mr. <br />Max Lofy, Recreation Director, and submit a report for Council consideration at <br />the July 16, 1979, Budget Session. <br />LABOR RELATIONS: <br />Councilman Temby stated he wished to thank Staff and the employees' associations who <br />participated in the Meet and Confer process. Councilman Temby commended the people <br />involved for a job well done. <br />BUDGET: <br />On Council consensus it was agreed that the Monday, July 16, 1979, Budget Session <br />cover the Administrative Activities of City Council, Community Promotion, City <br />Clerk, City Manager, Personnel, and City Attorney, with standby,for Finance De- <br />partment activities of Insurance, Finance Administration, and Accounting Division. <br />An,1ni IRNMFNT <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer and unanimously passed, <br />Mayor Gonzales adjourned the meeting at 6:47 p. m., to meet for an Adjourned <br />Budget Session on Monday, July 16, 1979, at 6:00 p. m. <br />HELEN A.
