June 18, 1985 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned. Regular Meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at <br />5:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Huntoon presiding. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council Members present were Rios, Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor Huntoon. <br />Also present were City Manager Elliott, City Attorney Edwards;.City.Clerk Ramos, <br />Acting Finance Director Andengaard, and Assistant Finance Director Young. <br />BUDGET <br />Comity Services <br />Community <br />Engineering <br />Acting Community Services Director Hutton reported there are no significant <br />changes in the Engineering portion of the Conmmity Services.budget, with the <br />exception of a request for one vehicle. This is a replacement for a vehicle <br />that is 10 years old. <br />Gas Tax Street Improvements <br />Mr. Hutton reviewed the street improvement projects on Page 417, to be funded <br />with Gas Tax Funds. <br />Street Division <br />Mr. Hutton reported he is requesting $9,000 to replace one Pickup Truck in <br />the Street Division, shown on Page 435. <br />Traffic Signals <br />Mr. Hutton reported the Traffic Signal budget remains the same. <br />Traffic Signs <br />.Mr. Hutton stated the budget for Traffic Signs remains essentially the same, <br />with a request on Page 451, Miscellaneous Equipment, being the exception. Mr. <br />Dutton stated the request is for a sign stenciling machine, this will effect a <br />savings by reducing manual labor. <br />Traffic Stripping <br />Mr..Hutton reported the Traffic Stripping budget remains the same. <br />Parks Maintenance <br />Mr. Hutton reported four part-time Park personnel are being requested. Mr. Hutton: <br />stated these new people would be assigned to work three, 8 -hour days, to clean the <br />parks on the week ends. <br />Community Services <br />Parks Maintenance <br />Park Superintendent Castorena addressed the Council stating that the City is in <br />need of a full time sprinkler man in the Parks Division. <br />JUN r 18 1985 <br />
