ADJOURNED REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />OCTOBER 15, 1996 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 6:10 P.M., in the Council <br />Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Fulp presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Mayor Fulp led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />INVOCATION: <br />Dr. Thomas W. Harvick offered the invocation. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Hansen, Bennett, Cook, Sanders, Beltran, and Mayor Fulp. Also <br />present were City Attorney Biggs, City Manager Freeman, and Interim City Clerk Delgado. <br />Mayor Fulp stated that Councilmember Hutton was absent due to illness. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />Presentations, Awards. Proclamations <br />* Councilmember Cook read the Proclamation declaring October 26 1996 as "National <br />Make A Difference Day. Accepted by Susan Patane, NORCAL/San Bernardino Inc. <br />* Councilmember Sanders presented a Certificate of Recognition to employee Nitin Modi, <br />Principal Electrical Engineer in the Electric Utility Department for his involved efforts <br />in completing the Gale A. Drews Substation and the publication of his article in the <br />magazine Public Power issued by the American Power Association entitled "Colton's <br />Turnaround." Accepted by Tom Clarke, Electric Utility Director on behalf of Nitin <br />Modi. <br />* Councilmember Beltran presented a Certificate of Recognition to Jim Burns, Southern <br />California Edison Region Manager, upon his retirement effective October 30, 1996.
